Nova Trading on the "Rzeczpospolita" List of 500

The daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita has published the latest edition of its prestigious ranking of the 500 largest companies in Poland. Nova Trading was ranked 455th. The position in the ranking was determined by the level of sales revenue achieved in 2024.
Although the Polish economy recorded a GDP growth of nearly 3% last year, business conditions remained challenging. The total sales revenue of the companies included in the ranking was lower than the previous year, as were their equity and net profits. The main challenges reported by company representatives included rising employment and energy costs.
Until recently, the List of 500 was dominated by foreign-owned companies. However, in this year’s edition, Polish-capital companies (Nova Trading among them) have taken the lead. The ranking is still dominated by trading companies, while manufacturing firms, including Nova Trading, are in the minority.
Many industries are currently facing significant uncertainty caused by the ongoing war in Ukraine, changes in EU regulations, and global trade tensions - particularly between the US and other economies. How Polish companies will navigate this demanding market environment remains to be seen in next year’s edition of the ranking.
